Situation: A weak trough of low pressure is approaching Funafuti, Central, and the Northern group of Tuvalu from the northeast. Meanwhile, light easterly winds flow prevails over the group. Fairweather covers most atolls. 

Forecast for this morning until 6 pm:   
For Funafuti, Central, and the Northern group: cloudy with a few passing showers of rain at times.
For Niulakita and Nukulaelae: mostly fine.
East to north-easterly wind 05 to 10 knots with light variable winds at times.  For Vaitupu, Funafuti, and Nukulaelae: Seas slight with northerly swells of 2 to 3 meters.
Elsewhere, Seas are slight.
