Situation: A strong south-easterly wind flow affects Niulakita and Nukulaelae. Meanwhile a cloud band slowly approaching Tuvalu from east. Fair weather covers the group.

Partly cloudy to cloudy periods with brief showers of rain at times.
For Niulakita and Nukulaelae: South-easterly winds 15 to 20 knots gusting up to 25 knots over land areas, 20 to 25 knots gusting up to 30 knots over open waters. Seas very rough with south-easterly swells 2 to 3 meters.
Elsewhere: South-easterly winds 10 to 15 knots with higher winds near squalls. Seas moderate to rough.
