Situation: A trough of low pressure with associated strong south-easterly wind flow continues to affect the southern waters of Tuvalu.

Cloudy to overcast with scattered showers of rain at times and possible thunderstorms.
For the Southern group: south-easterly winds 15 to 20 knots, gusting up to 25 knots over open waters, and 10 to 20 knots with higher winds over land areas. Seas rough with south-easterly swells 2 to 3 meters.
Elsewhere: east to south-easterly winds 10 to 15 knots with higher winds at times.
Seas moderate with south-easterly swells of 2 to 3 meters.
