Situation: A strong south-easterly wind flow continues to affect the southern group of Tuvalu. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure remains slow-moving over Tuvalu.
For Niulakita and Nukulaelae: Partly cloudy with a chance of passing showers of rain at times.
Elsewhere: Cloudy periods with brief showers of rain at times.
For the Southern group: South-easterly winds 20 to 25 knots gusting up to 30 knots over land areas, 25 to 30 knots gusting up to 35 knots over open waters. Seas very rough, with south-easterly swells 2-3 meters.
For the Central group: South-easterly winds 15 to 20 knots gusting up to 25 knots near squalls. Seas rough to very rough with south-easterly swells 2 to 3 meters.
For the Northern group: South to south-easterly winds 10 to 15 knots with higher winds at times near squalls.
Seas moderate to rough.
Maximum air temperature: 31.0°C. Average air temperature: 27.0°C.
Inundation Information: Inundated of low-lying and coastal areas, swamps and barrow pits overflow affected by the spring tide of this month has started and continue until Monday next week. Spring tide will peak this afternoon.
